Colorado Mountain College in Breckenridge is seeking a part-time faculty member to teach in the SAO Ropeway Maintenance Program during the Fall semester of 2023. The classes will run from early August through September (exact dates TBD).
The ideal candidate will be an engaging teacher with a dynamic approach to instruction. The Breckenridge Campus prides itself on the art of active teaching and illuminating learning for all students through experiential teaching outdoors and in the classroom. The program courses will utilize local ski area facilities in collaboration with Vail Resorts.
Applicants, at a minimum, must have the equivalent of an associate’s or bachelor’s degree and at least 4,000 hours of related work experience within the last seven years. Recent or current certifications and work associated with ski area operations and lift maintenance are preferred.
Some preparation of curriculum, syllabus, and assessments is expected.

Job Types: Part-time, Contract.
Salary: ~$1100-1300/credit hour.
