Colorado Mountain College in Leadville is seeking to create a qualified instructor pool for classes including Latinx Literature (LIT 2058) and Race, Ethnicity and Culture in U.S Literature (LIT 2005). These are in-person classes that will begin in early January and end the first week of May. Times have already been determined that work best for students’ schedules, but there can be a bit of flexibility with these if necessary.

The ideal candidate will be an engaging teacher with a dynamic approach to teaching. The Leadville Campus prides itself on the active art of teaching and illuminating learning for all students through experiential teaching in the outdoors and in the classroom setting.

Applicants, at a minimum, should have a graduate level degree in English or a related field with 18 credits of graduate coursework in this area.

Preparation of curriculum, syllabus, and assessments is expected.

If you are interested or have questions, please send a resume that highlights your experience in this area and unofficial transcripts to Kathleen Law at kmlaw2@coloradomtn.edu, or call (719) 486-4236 for more information.  Ultimately, official copies of transcripts(s), or certifications will be required.
